Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art dental treatment utilizing natural and alternative materials and methods. With our training and experience, we have the capabilities and techniques to help patients heal from toxic, non-biocompatible materials encountered in the past, helping them on their journey to optimal health.

Dr. Zakarian and his compassionate staff are happy to share the ways in which dentistry either helps or hurts the body. The approach taken at Natural Dental Arts in beautiful central San Diego is all about balance. It is our goal to promote health and wellbeing in our patients, who range in age from children to seniors.

Your smile should be bright and healthy. Correcting dental problems and enhancing your smile should not come at a cost to your health. In our dental practice, you can feel confident knowing that we use only biocompatible materials and products that are free of BPA. We do not use dental amalgam, and we follow a strict protocol to remove amalgam fillings safely when necessary.

In addition to providing patients with healthy alternatives to traditional dental materials, our office is designed with state-of-the-art equipment that is gentler on patients as well as the environment. Our digital x-ray equipment reduces radiation as much as 95 percent. Techniques and procedures used in preventive and restorative care are intended to be conservative, minimally invasive, and long lasting. Some of our current technologies include CEREC and all ceramic fillings and crowns, a soft tissue laser, fiber optic drills, and magnification loupes. Our team also works with a variety of complementary health practitioners to enable our patients to have more power over their health and quality of life.
