First of all, I want to say that before I went to the place, I read numerous review of this place. Some positive while others negative. I decided to give it a try anyways after reading some positive reviews.
I purchased the 2 hour riding tour for the 3 of us. We ended up going on a tour with about 15 other folks. Our ride time was definitely less than what we paid for. The folks that paid for 1.5 hours came back at the same time as us. The tour was suppose to go out at 11, but we definitely left a lot later. After we got off the horses, I asked them about it. The lady told me that they will allow us to go back in for 30 more minutes of riding. I asked if they could simply adjust the charge on my credit card and refund me $30. The person on the desk called the owner, but I guess it didn't work out. However, they did offer to give me three $10 off for future rides (probably won't go again).
Long story short, we paid for 2 hours of tour and got more like 1 hour and 15 minutes (tops). Considering it took them so long to get all 15 riders on the horses and training how to ride.
Most of the horses are well trained, and they will NOT go very fast. My horse was a slow poke and took its sweet time. I swear, I could've hiked the trail faster than the horses. The view is not that great on the ride either. I expected that we would start going a little faster towards the end, but nope. It was like an elongated pony ride that you get at local fairs.
If you ask me, then I don't think I would go back to this place again. If you have never ridden horses before, and want to go for the sake of getting on top of a horse... then go ahead.
