Dr. Alex Basti and Dr. Nina Basti want you and your family to feel safe, comfortable and at ease by getting to know each other like a close knit family, knowing your likes and dislikes. Our dental practice is centered around knowing each other, and making your families dental needs part of a family activity where it doesn't have to be associated only with pain, drills, cavities, and fillings.

Our office is a small family practice, which means that we see families with kids from two years old to seniors and all the way into their 80s and 90s. By having the younger members of the family coming in from an early age, they can start getting comfortable with the prospect of coming to dentists; we like to build those habits early on.

At Basti Medical Center, when the kids arrive early in our office, the staff will play with them and talk to them. We make them feel comfortable with toys and stickers. When you create a positive experience for the kids from an early age, they will look forward to a better experience in the future, and will not be scared of dentists and dental offices.

The benefit of family dentistry is that we get to know our patients from an early age, and become a part of their families whilst sharing their experiences as they become teenagers, adults, and then get married. We form a connection when we see them from childhood through growing up and becoming an adult. Our patients are part of the family; we know a lot about them, and they know a lot about us. We know everyone by name, what they do, and what goes on in their lives, and vice versa.
