Her academic achievements continued to garner recognition, including election to the Phi Beta Kappa National Honors Society, College Honors, and a National Merit scholarship. She was awarded the Regents Scholarship at UCLA, one of the most prestigious student acknowledgements.
With a medical degree from UCLA, Dr. Farshidi completed internship and residency at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, associated with the esteemed Washington University Dermatology Program. She had the great privilege of gaining extensive hands-on experience in this program. Washington University is a national resource for distinction in the field of dermatology, continually educating and training physicians in the latest treatments for skin diseases and disorders.
Dr. Farshidi then received certification from the American Board of Dermatology. She is on staff at Hoag Hospital, and is a respected published author on medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology topics.
