At Dr. Golds' Source Dental in Oshawa, we treat patients from our immediate area, as well as, from Bowmanville, Courtice, Brooklin, Whitby, all of Durham Region and Greater Toronto.
Dr. Gold is a family dentist who believes in combining the art and science of dentistry. Artistically speaking, Dr. Gold draws upon creative skills when helping patients achieve esthetically pleasing smiles. He does this while incorporating his strong foundations in Medico/Dental science to ensure structural integrity and longevity of results. Just as important, Dr. Gold strives to make each of his patients feel at home.
Dr. Gold is a proud scholarship-graduate of the esteemed McGill University and post-graduate residency. Understanding the importance of a strong foundation of training, Dr. Gold stays abreast of the latest dental teachings by continuing his education in order to bring the most benefit to his patients' smiles. Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Gold has continued to hone skills that improve patient experiences and results.
Dr. Nicki Sussman earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario. She continued her education at the University of Toronto earning her dental degree in 2001. Shortly after receiving her degree, Dr. Sussman joined the esteemed team of dentists at Dr. Gold's Source Dental. She has remained an invaluable asset to us ever since. She treats patients of all ages with a high standard of excellence and a great deal of compassion. Continually educating herself, Dr. Sussman provides quality care using the most up-to-date techniques and materials. She enjoys working with children and helping all of her patients enjoy happy, healthy smiles.
Dr. Kazim graduated with Distinction in 2007 from the University of Toronto. Shortly after, she participated in a Medical/Dental missions in Guyana. She has been part of the Source Dental team since 2007.
Dr. Kazim is a dentist who is focused on ensuring her patients have a comfortable experience in her chair. She enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry which is evident in her caring smile. An integral part of her ongoing success at Dr. Gold's Source Dental is her inherent ability to build strong relationships with her patients and her colleagues.
Dr. Kazim enjoys time with her family, has a healthy appetite for travel, and is committed to living the healthiest lifestyle she can.
A native to Toronto, Dr. McIntosh earned her Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Toronto. She received her dental degree in 1991 upon graduation from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. Additionally, she completed a post-graduate program at the University of Toronto earning her specialty degree in Periodontics in 1996.
Throughout her educational career, Dr. McIntosh has shone as a distinguished student. She was honored to receive scholarships and awards like the American Academy of Periodontology Award, the Mary Ellen Carty Scholarship, the Oral Pathology Award, and the Oral Diagnosis Award. She provided dental care to Moose Factory Ontario during her fourth year of study and she was immensely affected by the experience. After graduating, Dr. McIntosh practiced in Kirkland Lake, ON and worked in numerous practices providing outstanding periodontal services. She enjoys time with her husband and their two children with whom she lives in the Oakville area.
Dr. McIntosh co-authored an article with Dr. Robert S. Turnbull M.ScD and David Locker PhD in 2002. This article, "Risk Indicators for Periodontal Disease in a Remote Canadian Community-a Dental Practice-Based Study." was published in the Journal of Public Health Dentistry.
Dr. Zeynali was on the Dean's honor list as he attended the dental program at the University of Western Ontario. When he earned his dental degree in 2014, he was awarded for excellence in clinical demonstrations upon the recommendation of the Divisions of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics, Fixed Prosthodontics and Removable Prosthodontics.
Prior to pursuing his dental education, Dr. Alireza instructed students at the Dental Simulation Training Center, a facility in which dentists from around the world are prepared for clinical examinations in Canadian and United States dental schools. The fourteen years he worked as an instructor gave him a great deal of insight and experience, which have helped him in his own clinical practice. Dr. Alireza enjoys focusing on oral surgery, aesthetic dentistry, and endodontics (root canal therapy).
Dr. Alireza is passionate about dentistry and maintains a high standard for himself as he treats his patients. He maintains a high level of education by participating in ongoing training courses that pertain to his areas of practice. Before moving to Canada, Dr. Alireza was a successful dentist in Iran, where he earned his initial dental degree in 2000. Away from the office, he enjoys time with loved ones and biking.
In her free time Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and loves Kickboxing.

Dr. Arif Sajan, Dentist
We are pleased to have Dr. Sajan as a member of the Source Dental team. Dr. Sajan provides our patients with the safe, effective administration of IV sedation, allowing them to relax and possibly sleep through treatments, such as wisdom tooth extraction. Heather has been a member of Dr Gold’s team for 28 years. She first pursued a career in dentistry and sought employment as a Dental Assistant in our progressive dental practice. Heather quickly gained an understanding in all aspects of dentistry. As the practice grew, so did Heather’s determination and drive to take on new challenges. Heather strives for excellence in customer service and her compassionate demeanour and outgoing personality makes her office inviting to client’s and staff. Heather prides herself on building personal relationships, providing treatment information, and creating individual financial plans. Although Heather’s main responsibility is overseeing the function and efficiency of our office, her goal is to make your entrance into our practice as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Heather prides herself in the long term relationships that she has formed over the last 28 years with many clients at Source Dental.Barb RDH and Clinical Manager
Barb is a Registered Dental Hygienist. An honours graduate from Confederation College in 1986 who showed determination and a desire to grow with a progressive, preventive, family practice. With over 29 years experience, Barb gains great satisfaction in providing the individualized care that is required to ensure each patient receives optimal dental health. Barb is diligent in her pursuit to stay current in providing the profession's leading dental care procedures while utilizing state-of-the-art technology, supplies and equipment. Barb’s passion for dentistry, strong work ethic, and leadership skills are evident in her position as Clinical Manager. She is a highly-skilled dental health care professional who believes that building personal rapport with clients is essential. Barb has had the pleasure of treating 4 generations during her employment at Source Dental who she treats and values as family.Restorative Hygienists

Kendra is a Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist employed with Source Dental since 2005. She graduated on the President’s honour roll throughout her college education earning many awards including, the Bronze Medallion for Academic Achievement, John Butler Clinic Award, Durham Ontario Dental Society Award and the Soroptomist International Women’s Award. Kendra keeps current on all aspects of dentistry primarily focusing on Restorative techniques and the state of the art Cerec CAD-CAM computer system. In her spare time she enjoys her cottage in the Kawarthas, cruising, running and her wonderful family.Jennifer-RRDH
Jennifer has been a Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist since 2000, and has been with us at Source Dental since 2005. After graduating from The University of Toronto where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, she decided to satisfy her desire to work with people and explore her interests in the health care field. She graduated on the Dean’s Honour roll from Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene from Georgian College. She quickly went on to Restorative Dental Hygiene at George brown College where she was also on the honour roll and later returned as a clinical instructor. Jennifer enjoys continuing education in all aspects of dentistry with her primary focus being on the Cerec CAD-CAM applications. Jennifer enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding and flying in her spare time.Nicole-RRDH
Nicole graduated from George Brown College as a Restorative Dental Hygienist in 1993. She has been working with our team since 2012. Nicole is also our in house Invisalign Consultant, and has 15 years of experience with Orthodontics. She is always continuing her education to stay current and with her ability to communicate in both French and English, provides the best results for her clients.In her free time Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and loves Kickboxing.

Sandra RDH
Sandra brought a ray of sunshine when she joined our Dental Hygiene team in 2000. As an honours graduate from St. Clair College in Windsor, Sandra brought a complete understanding of periodontal care and has since provided her client’s with lasting relationships guiding them to health and wellness. Sandra is a great hygienist who has a natural ability to connect and understand people. She is loved by all her clients and is committed to advancing her skills and knowledge and keeping current with new technology. Sandra places a strong emphasis on putting her clients at ease and providing them with the care necessary in preventing periodontal disease. Sandra was attracted to dentistry because it gave her the opportunity to help people and form meaningful relationships while providing gentle dental care. It isn’t uncommon to see Sandra’s clients giving her a hug before they leave.Jill RDH
Jill graduated with honours from Durham College and quickly secured a position with Source Dental as a Dental Hygienist in 2001. Jill has a strong attention to detail and enjoys the one-on-one experience that she has with her clients while educating them on the importance of oral health. Jill prides herself on staying current with the standards of practice and continuing education; learning the latest research and technology in dentistry. With extensive training, Jill has developed a keen interest in helping people with Sleep Apnea and TMJ Disorder. She is confident in assessing and addressing concerns and directing client's in the right direction for treatment. Jill with her fluency in both English and French, is an asset to our team who is committed to her clients, continuously learning, and keeping up with technology.Ashley RDH
Ashley's desire to learn the latest advancements in dental care is what led her to join the Source Dental team in 2009, working as a Dental Assistant. Ashley quickly gained knowledge in all aspects of dentistry. Her passion for dentistry directed her back to the Dental Hygiene Program and she graduated with honours in 2011. Ashley’s love for dental hygiene fuels her desire to provide quality care for her clients. She is our in-house zoom whitening technician and enjoys creating beautiful, healthy smiles.
