Dr. Paul Eisner

<?php echo $pk;?> - Dr. Paul Eisner Dr. Paul Eisner is the founder and now partner of Sherwood Dental in Oakville, as well as founder of The Dental Learning Centre (TDLC) in Toronto. He believes in the strength of continuing education, and is constantly seeking to expand his knowledge, and to share that knowledge and his love of dentistry with others. He has used his knowledge and experience to serve thousands of patients over the years, and has shared his services with many organizations and in various charity settings. In addition to general dentistry services, Dr. Eisner maintains a strong affinity for the area of cosmetic dentistry. He enjoys the opportunity to provide patients with beautiful smiles, and to experience the reward of their confidence and satisfaction.

He is often called upon as a speaker for national events, and in media settings to share information and developments from his perspective as a dentist. His passion for dentistry, being informed of the latest developments in the field, as well as knowledge and education are evident in the contributions he makes to these areas. He is a lecturer highly sought to speak regarding innovation and technology in dentistry, and has been published in dental journals and consumer magazines. He has appeared on children’s television, and provided services as team dentist for professional hockey and football teams. Another area where his expertise has provided assistance is on advisory boards of computer software companies.

With over 45 years in dental practice, he also has held many past, as well as present, memberships with a number of prestigious dental associations and organizations. He takes pride in his Fellowship with the International College of Dentists. This membership is secured by invitation only, and an honor for those selected for their significant contributions to their profession, community, and families.

Dr. Stephen Gaines

<?php echo $pk;?> - Dr. Stephen Gaines Dr. Stephen Gaines graduated in 1993 from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology/Physiology and Physics. He continued his education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he earned his dental degree in 1997.

Dr. Gaines is fervent about continuing education and is constantly in pursuit of avenues for learning more about the latest developments in the field of dentistry. He has attended various programs and acquired expanded knowledge in such areas as:

  • Lasers in dentistry
  • Advanced smile design principle
  • Esthetics utilizing veneers
  • Ceramic crowns
  • Microdentistry
  • Cosmetic inlays and onlays
  • Implant prosthetics
  • Occlusion
  • Comprehensive rehabilitative dentistry

Dr. Gaines is a sought after lecturer and hands-on trainer in the applications of advanced techniques and technologies for minimally-invasive dentistry.

He holds positions of Fellowship and Founding Member of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry.

He has also served as team dentist for the OHL’s Mississauga Ice Dogs, and Assistant Team Dentist for the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts.

Dr. Gaines practices at Sherwood Dental in Oakville, Ontario. His practice there consists of providing a comprehensive list of services for patients of all ages. Some of the advanced services offered include restorative treatments, cosmetic services, implant rehabilitative dentistry, and laser microdentistry.
