Meet the Doctors

Leif E.A. Löberg, DDS

Dr. Leif Löberg graduated from New York University College of Dentistry David B. Kriser Dental Center in 2001, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS). He is licensed in both Ontario, Canada, as well as in California, USA. He focuses on clinical dentistry such as the use of prosthodontics and oral implantology. He is also the recipient of professional awards such as the Waterpik Prosthodontic Award.

Co-Founder of the Orange County Implant Study Club for General Practitioners, Dr. Löberg fosters education as a continuous source of professional inspiration. His focus is on comprehensive dentistry using technology, which fuels long-term function and aesthetics. He has incorporated several cutting edge technologies into the practice including the Computer Aided Design and Milling System from E4D to ensure perfect fitting restorations are long lasting, esthetic, and time saving. For your comfort, Dr. Löberg also has the ability to provide monitored IV sedation. Most patients who chose to be sedated for their treatment wonder how dentistry can be performed any other way. One of the amazing techniques Dr. Löberg has embraced is the All-on-Four implant concept developed by Nobel Biocare, a world leader in implant technology. This concept has the ability to change people’s lives. One of Dr. Löberg’s favorite moments is to watch the tears erupt from a patient because they are overwhelmed with the joy and the feeling of youthful rejuvenation of beautiful permanent teeth.

In our community, Dr. Löberg and his staff believe in generous giving and each year host an annual event called Dentistry From The Heart, an opportunity to open the doors to his busy practice and provide free smiles to the local residents of Orange County. August 10, 2012 marked the first annual event and was an incredible day for the entire community. Students of the Laguna Hills High School football program had the opportunity to meet Dr. Löberg's staff as the team was given complimentary custom fitted Mouthpieces. A greater purpose is to continuously enrich the lives of those that surround him.

Outside of the office, Dr. Löberg loves spending time with his beautiful wife Christine and three wonderful children Liam, Aydenne, and Emerson. He also loves playing hockey and he can be found playing at Aliso Viejo Ice Palace with the Novocaine Knights. He also hosts a weekly Oral Health awareness skate at Shoot 2 Score, a private hockey training facility in San Clemente. Dr. Löberg looks forward to meeting you and your family and welcoming you to his family of patients.

Dr. Alejandro Assatourians

After spending his childhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Alejandro Assatourians moved to Los Angeles, where he attended the University of California, Irvine, and graduated with a degree in Biology. Encouraged by a passion to work with his hands, he moved on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.

Since completing his training program at UOP, Dr. Assatourians has pursued many hours of additional training in the area of Dental Cosmetics, Implants, and Digital Dentistry in order to master the art of creating beautiful smiles. He takes pride in providing personalized, top quality dentistry to each and every patient.

Dr. Assatourians has also been committed to giving back to the community. He collaborated with Operation Tooth Fairy, and planned a dental mission to provide care to children and adults with clef lip/palate in La, Serena, Chile. Every year, he also participates in “Serve Days”, where he provides dental treatment to those with difficult access to care.

His passion to be a on the cutting edge of dentistry has also led him to start his own creative technology company. Among other projects, he is working to innovate a new system for orthodontics (braces) to move teeth more accurately and predictably, while maintaining optimal esthetics in the process.

When Dr. Assatourians is away from the dental office, he spends time with family and friends. His many hobbies include cooking, learning about astronomy, and staying fit. He enjoy swimming, cycling, hiking, snowboarding, and weight training and his current goal is to compete in a triathlon in 2013.

Christine Vian, DDS

Dr. Christine Vian is the wife of Dr. Leif Löberg, and she graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2001. She received a DDS (Dental Surgery Degree), and she has maintained her clinical excellence through hours of continuing education in aesthetic dentistry and implantology. Her meticulous eye for detail sets her apart from her colleagues. Dr. Vian’s focus in practice is comprehensive cosmetic dentistry. She began by practicing general dentistry, but found aesthetic dentistry to be much more rewarding.

Dr. Vian is part of the American Dental Association, the Orange County Dental Society, and the California Dental Association. She loves spending time with Dr. Leif Löberg, her husband, and their three children Liam, Aydenne & Emerson. She can also be found exercising, reading, or playing the piano for enjoyment.

Dr. Daniel S. Fife

Dr. Daniel S. Fife is a native of Merced CA; he was born and raised there. He was awarded an academic scholarship for his accomplishments in his courses and an athletic scholarship for his performance on the Soccer Team while he was attending San Jose State University. Dr. Fife received Clinical and Academic awards when he attended University of California San Francisco dental school. He expanded his education and skills at University of California Los Angeles with two years of advanced studies in Microsurgery and Endodontics. He received several awards for his exceptional performance during this time. Since 2009, the doctor has practiced full time as an Endodontic Specialist. Dr. Fife enjoys spending his time off with his family, surfing, snowboarding, playing soccer, and fly-fishing.
