LED, or light-emitting diodes, has existed for many years. In aesthetic medicine, this form of light is used therapeutically to promote healthier, younger-looking skin. The wavelengths of light emitted by our device can penetrate tissues as deep as one inch, promoting the proliferation of ATP, or cellular energy. Additionally, collagen is stimulated by red light LED, leading to plumpness and smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles.

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is an innovative treatment that works based on the skin’s ability to heal and rejuvenate itself under the right circumstances. Using our adjustable Rejuvapen tip, we promote the synthesis of healthy new tissue by penetrating the skin with thousands of invisible microchannels. Our pen has nine needles that can reach depths ranging from .2 to 2.5mm.

Will these microchannels show on my skin?

The body’s response to the microchannels made by the Rejuvapen is the increased production of collagen and essential growth factors released to heal wounds. The beauty of microneedling is that the “wounds” we create cannot be seen with the naked eye! After treatment, you may notice a healthy pink glow to your skin. In some cases, slight redness may develop, but this will diminish quickly.
