Dr. Vig attended McMaster University in Hamilton, where she achieved Dean’s List recognition all four years and earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. At University of Toronto, she received a master’s degree in nanomedicine. Her work in this emerging field has been published, and she has presented at dental conferences and meetings. With drive and an ongoing thirst for knowledge, she earned Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) credentials from University of Toronto. Dr. Vig is also certified in nitrous oxide sedation and has performed research in root canal therapy. She maintains membership in the Ontario Dental Association and in the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

As an active part of the community of Whitby and surrounding areas, Dr. Vig supports local charities and participates in fundraising efforts.

When she is not caring for patients at Trinity Family Dental, Dr. Vig enjoys time with her husband and daughter, and loves to travel.

Dr. Thakkar completed bachelor’s studies in dental surgery in 2012. He went on to fulfill a one-year advanced education program in general dentistry at Akshar Dental, where he was honored with a gold medal for academic excellence. As a lifelong learner, Dr. Thakkar keeps abreast of innovations in the field through participation in dental conferences and continuing education courses. He knows this helps him deliver the highest level of dental care to patients. The doctor is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, Canada, and the Ontario Dental Association.

In leisure time, Dr. Thakkar enjoys family experiences, hiking and exploring, table tennis, and cricket.
