About PRF regeneration

PRF is an acronym for Platelet Rich Fibrin, a substance created from the patient’s own blood platelets. The process is performed right here in our Los Angeles office. A very small amount of blood is drawn from the patient and placed into a centrifuge, which separates red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. A fibrin membrane is created from the platelets and white blood cells. This membrane is then applied to the area in need of healing.
