"I have been seeing Dr. Shukla, for two years now. I was referred to Dr. Shukla by my family doctor, Dr. Denis Callaghan. I had a small wart on my chin which needed to be removed. After receiving treatment from Dr. Shukla, I discussed some issues I had with my facial skin. I had a lot of sun damage and freckles on my face and I did not like what I saw in the mirror. I also had a lot of adult acne due to hormonal breakouts. They were very sore and deep under my skin. I would try to treat them myself and ended up with some scaring from picking at my breakouts. I am 52 years old now and the last thing I want to worry about is acne. As a teenager I did not have as much acne as I did during my whole adult life. Dr. Shukla and his assistant previous Corrine examined my skin and gave me some advise as to what I should do to help with my breakout. I will never forget what Dr. Shukla said to me. He said first of all "pick on something else instead of your face." We started with a facial treatment called "Glycolic Peel". Dr. Shukla took before and after pictures so I will be able to see if the treatment worked. I was amazed of the results on my face. Also a vitamin C cream and face moisturizer by "Alyria" I use these moisturizers every day and my skin glows. I also did a Chemical Peel which did wonders for my skin. Now I am completing a 10-session treatment call "Silk Peel" for maintenance, which has transformed my skin to a much younger and healthier look. I have got to say that in the past two years my skin glows and I barely get any more acne breakouts. My dark spots are almost completely gone. My skin looks younger and refreshed. I get a lot of compliments from my family and friends. I have much more confidence without acne on my face. I am very pleased with Dr. Shukla and his new assistant Stephanie. They are very informative and caring. They listen to what I need and inform me of different options that will help me with my problem. When I'm at the office I feel very comfortable and there is no pressure into doing anything that I am not comfortable with. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shukla to anyone who needs a dermatologist."

"After reading previous reviews I was actually nervous about attending my appointment that had been booked by my GP in November. As it was late February I imagined the booking might have been lost etc. All these fears were for nothing. Yes, the front staff are young and attractive... which is irrelevant, they are professional and pleasant. My appointment was called early and I was first attended by an intern who was attentive and thorough. Dr. Shukla was very patient, kind and informative. I was never rushed and my questions were welcomed. Ok, parking could be an issue, the lot is small and you may need to walk a bit but I was lucky and got a spot right by the door. Upon the completion of my appointment various samples were generously offered. I had only a positive experience and highly recommend this clinic."
