MEET THE DOCTOR
About Dr. Mckenzie
Dr. Michaela McKenzie
was born in London and is the eldest daughter of a renowned Australian
engraver who restored selected pieces for the Queen of England and other
heads of state. Dr. McKenzie credits her father's influence in developing her own artistic talent, appreciation for detail, and demand for perfection in dentistry.
Dr. McKenzie holds degrees in biochemistry and German from the University of Arizona. She won a scholarship to study for a year in Marburg Germany and did research in toxicology at Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene & Public Health.Dr. McKenzie graduated from the Creighton University School of Dentistry, in Nebraska.
Postdoctoral
studies include cosmetic dental training at the highly acclaimed
Pacific Aesthetic Continuum in San Francisco, California. Dr. McKenzie completed the rigorous Master Aesthetic Dental program at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Nevada. She has lectured internationally on cosmetic dentistry for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
In 2000, Dr. McKenzie
formed a study group in Atlanta for dentists who wanted to continue
studying and learning about the latest technology. The North Atlanta
Young Dental Symposium met monthly and served as a way for specialists
and general dentists to share ideas for improving patient care.
