Gary Bennett practices in the areas of Employment Law, Labour Law and Civil Litigation.

Gary Bennett practices in the areas of Labour and Employment Law and Civil Litigation. His Labour and Employment law practice includes the following areas: wrongful dismissal; preparation and negotiation of employment contracts: preparation of employee manuals; staff terminations; mass terminations and downsizing; non-solicitation injunctions; judicial review applications; grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining; Ontario Labour Relations Board applications and complaints; Human Rights Tribunal hearings and Employment Standards Act 2000 complaints.

Gary attended the University of Western Ontario where he studied Administrative and Commercial Studies and Political Science. Gary earned his first LL.B. from the University of London in England, graduating with honours in 1996. He received his Canadian LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1998.

After completing his Canadian LL.B., Gary articled and practiced with a large firm in Toronto. In 2002, he returned to Mississauga to continue his practice.

Gary has represented clients before all levels of Court in Ontario including the Ontario Court of Appeal. He has successfully defended medical professionals before their respected colleges and assisted both Educational Institutes and their students in disputes of all natures.

Gary’s memberships include the Christian Legal Fellowship, The Advocate’s Society, Canadian Association of Black Lawyers and the Canadian Bar Association. Gary is an active member of the worship team and soccer program at Kingdom Covenant Ministries. Gary is also a Deacon at Kingdom Covenant Ministries.
